2015 ISPE Europe Annual Conference

The 2015 ISPE Europe Annual Conference – Driving Effectiveness in Pharmaceutical Operations with Integrated Quality will bring together pharmaceutical, regulatory and technology experts from around the world in Frankfurt in 4-7 May 2015.

This three-and-a-half-day, must-attend, education conference will use best practise case studies to explore current technologies, regulatory requirements and will provide delegates with techniques for the evaluation and implementation of cutting-edge technologies. The Conference is aimed at Pharma Development Experts, Quality Management, Quality Assurance, Quality Operations, Quality Control, Quality Systems, Production & Distribution Personnel, Professionals Involved in Manufacturing, Development and Technology Transfer as well as Suppliers and Regulators with interest in new solutions and experiences.

In-depth discussion through four tracks will cover cost-effective, flexible, sustainable manufacturing facilities design and implementation; the use of IT and advanced technology in the drug manufacturing; drug supply and inspections requirements; and drug submissions and quality by design. Quality Control Training at Kadırga Vocational High School

Training on Quality Control Applications and Devices was given by Mr. Mehmet Çalıkoğlu from Bayer Quality Control Department at Kadırga Vocational High School on March 12, 2015. While the training was highly appreciated by students, the teachers thanked the organizing committee and expressed the need for theoretical and practical trainings given by industry professionals. ISPE Turkey Affiliate is committed to continue to such technical trainings via the contribution of its members.

PAT & QbD Workshop / 26 February 2015

QbD & PAT* Workshop was held on February 26, 2015 at Santa Farma with high attendance and interest. Fatma Taman, Chair of ISPE Turkey Affiliate’s Board and Steering Committee Member of ISPE’s PAT Community of Practice group informed the participants about the history of PAT in Turkey, emphasized the benefits of ISPE membership and the need for creating a sustainable team for the efficiency of PAT workshops. Dr. Buket Aksu, Corporate Relations Director at Santa Farma held a speech about the importance of QbD and explained in detail a QbD study, based on a real implementation example. At the end of the event, Fatma Taman encouraged the attendees about further contacting the Affiliate to be a part of the members-only PAT working group.
