An educational seminar on Process Analytical Technologies organized by ISPE Turkey was held on September 22nd,2006 in the conference auditorium of the Istanbul Chamber of Industry.

Altogether 98 attendants and 8 speakers were present. After the opening speech of Affiliate Chairman Dr.Ünsal Hekiman, the first presentation was delivered by Selim Seyhan from PharmaVision and Suat Kumser of Pfizer Turkey as the Affiliate's PAT Team. Bronwyn Grout of Pfizer Australia and Ken Leiper from Benson associates each gave two talks on various aspects of PAT. A speaker each from industry supplying companies, Glatt, Visiotec, Erweka and Matcon also contributed to the seminar with their presentations. The seminar had visitors from both universities and regulatory authorities.

With topics covering both applications and theoretical aspects of PAT, the seminar attracted lots of attention and interest, evidenced by the fact that despite the late closing time there were almost no early departures from the listeners.
